I just now learned of Carol's passing. Though it has been a while since she and I had seen each other, I remember her well and wish time hadn't gone by that we were not in touch. Sincere condolences to Jerry and the whole family.

Carol was one of the best and generous aunts one could have! I will always cherish the train and road trips to Long Island, fun weekends at the beach, and spending time and breaking bread with cousins Matt, Perry, Tom, Jane and Lucy. And of course Uncle Jerry, the best driver you'd find navigating the Long Island Parkways! And then, I will never forget the first trip to Long Island, when driver grandfather Lou missed the exit for the Cross Island parkway, all before the time of GSP and cell phones! Shortly before her milestone 90th birthday last November, she called and asked if I would serve as the official photographer at the celebration. She was very specific in telling me what she wanted in the photographs and especially take pictures of her long time fried. We will miss you Aunt Carol.
