My condolences to the entire family. I work at the cancer center where he was receiving treatment. I was fortunate to know him and his likes for the New York Yankees. Mr. Cavanaugh and I clicked from the very first time we met because he knew I loved the Yankees. He was a very sweet man. His wife was very sincere and I know she loved him very much. I'm sad to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. May he r.i.p.
God was blessed with another angel. God bless the entire family and my condolences to each and every one that is affected by this tragedy. I will never forget him nor his smile and I will treasure the times we talked about our beloved Yankees. You will be missed and never be forgotten.

What a wonderful young man, devoted friend to our son Ben during Notre Dame days and afterward. Because of that friendship we got to know Charles and loved the company of his wit and enthusiasium for life, family, and friends. We send our sympathy to Emilia, Aidan, Mike, and Zoe.
