CHARLES DOREGO

DOREGO--Charles, passed away on March 13 at age 67. Charlie lived his life fully and with a depth and breadth of character that touched many. In his professional life he was an accomplished real estate lawyer and served as General Counsel to Glenwood Management for many years. Charlie's story, however, was much broader than his life as a lawyer. From working as Marvel Comic characters, Spider Man and Captain America, to his time as a conductor on the LI Railroad, to his early days racing pigs in Brentwood, Charlie lived a varied life. Charlie was revered by all including real estate industry, its Unions and virtually anyone who knew him not just as an attorney, but as a person of immense wisdom and empathy. Charlie dedicated his life to helping others and served on the board of many charitable and industry organizations including the boards of Outreach, the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, and Real Estate Board of New York. We wish his wife Catherine, sons Teddy and Tommy, mother Anne Howell and all his surviving family our deepest condolences and sympathies.
