CHARLES STORER Obituary
Drinkwater Jr., 86, beloved husband of June Kelly-Storer passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at The Hebrew Home in Riverdale, New York. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles D. Storer, Lois Penny Storer Stephenson and Donald T. Stephenson; and by his sister, Carol Stephenson Payne. He grew up in Glen Rock and Ridgewood, New Jersey. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and received a UN Ribbon. In 1951, he received a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Dartmouth College, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, Glee Club and Crew Team. He worked as a journalist for the Associated Press in Albany, NY and New York City, and then as a public relations specialist at the New York Stock Exchange and Robert Marston and Associates. He was a longtime supporter of the arts, an avid Mets fan, photographer and nature enthusiast. He is survived by his children, Charles III, Samuel, Caleb and Sarah, stepchildren Jaime, Joanne and Janice, grandchildren Jack, Dan, Eli, Jennifer, Christina, Mariah, Demetrios, Michael and great-grandchild Cadence.
