COPELAND MACCLINTOCK Obituary

MacCLINTOCK--Copeland, passed away peacefully at home on January 20, after a short illness in his 88th year. The son of Princeton University professor Paul MacClintock and Elizabeth Sewell Copeland, he followed his father's footsteps as a geologist and paleontologist. Devoted to the invertebrate paleontology collections at Yale Peabody Museum, Cope's half-century museum affiliation continued until his death. He is deeply missed by his wife Dorcas, daughters Margaret and Pamela, granddaughter Zora, sister Lucia Barbour and his collie Bonnie.

Dear Mrs. MacClintock, Margaret, Pamela and family,

Please accept my sincere condolences.
You have all been in my thoughts.

I tried to express my sympathy to you by mail, but it was returned. I was Margaret's classmate at HH and friend at college.

Sincerely,
Jan Sarah Fellenbaum
