Our thoughts were today with David. He will be missed by all of us. But the memories are bright, laughter and happy times. I'll remember his great kindness to me and our fun and giving conversations.

My condolences go out to your family at this time. May you be able to find hope in the scriptures found in 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17.

David was at Simmons already when I went there as a freshman. Although we were in very different programs, we did get to share some laughs -- generally about some of the more stuffed shirts at the school. Over the years we had opportunity to share more laughs about various local, national, and familial characters and events. His was a special seasoning within his/my and families. Thank-you, David --- youe definitely were special.

I know Uncle David only through his nephew John, who was always fond of and felt close to his Uncle David. I know too that Uncle David knew a thing or two more than most of us about how to live well, that his life was exemplary. My condolences to his family.
