It was with great sadness that I learned of the passage of Dr David Eisenbud.
David and I were friends and colleagues for over 20 years and involved in many clinical trials together. He was extremely bright, knowledgable, and kind. I will miss his gentle manner and friendship.

I remember David as an Intern at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Energetic, driven and always informed about his patients. I knew he would go far. I met him on Thoracic Surgery and knew he would be a dedicated and renowned surgeon. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. Dr. Sandra Stolzy

David,
You will be greatly missed. You inspired me to persue my advanced practice in wounds. I was your only nurse at Union Hospital where we would treat wound patients until they were healed. Your love of medicine and people, and your expertise in wound care showed us the path to healing. I miss miss you my friend, your gentle way, and soft demeaner with your patients warmed my soul.
Your nurse, and colleague,
Linda Kessler
