As a former employee of Royal Home Fashions/Croscill, I remember David as a extremly gifted, bright, and intelligent person. He always had a smile and was pleasant to work with. He was very generous and shared his thoughts freely. His ideas took the company into the 21st century with a great vision that nurtured the designers and fellow employees. His passing is a great void in the hearts of very many people that cared for him and his family. His family was very close and loving. My heart goes out to them; Mike, Stanley, Doug, and the rest of his family that loved him dearly. I know while this time is more than difficult, time will help to heal the wounds. His memory will live on in our hearts of his smile, quick wit, and kind nature.
"...he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth."

As a member of the Textile industry I knew David and the entire Croscill family for 37 years. I never thought of David as anything less than a wonderful person and a great and smart friend. I am deeply, deeply saddened by his passing and will miss him dearly. I cannot express my sympathy more than to say the world is a much sadder place without David. May his family remember only the good times and the blessings and may they always have peace.
