Es triste saber que las personas de buen corazón han partido de este mundo, pero nos consuela pensar que descansan en el Cielo con sus sus seres queridos.

It was an honor to meet David Saltonstall when he was programs director at the Andrew Mellon Foundation of New York city. During my second academic trip to upstate New York, I had the privilege to learn what he knew about the prospective careers of young scholars. I remember him for all the good things and works. May he rest in peace with his loved ones. Margarita Hidalgo, professor emerita, San Diego State University.
