DAVID TURRET Obituary

TURRET--David B. Passed peacefully on Janua-ry 8, 2025 at his home in NYC. Survived by his beloved wife Beth Santopolo; cherished sons Daniel (wife Jen) of White Plains, NY and Jason (wife Gina) of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Kaia, Luca, Charlotte, Henry, older brother Ira (wife Josette) of West Palm Beach; and nephew Jonathan. Born in NYC June 28, 1952, and raised by predeceased parents Jack (NYS Supreme Court Justice) and Rita (a NYC elementary school teacher), David was a brilliant and successful attorney, ruled by his ethics and passion for the law. He worked tirelessly in private practice for over 40 years, earning the admiration and respect of not only his partners and employees of the firm, but colleagues and adversaries alike. Notwithstanding the long hours he devoted to his career, his energy and enthusiasm for his family never waned. He also enjoyed skiing, tennis and watching his sons' sporting events. He was a kind and gentle soul showing compassion and devotion to his many friends and extended family. He made his mark upon us and will be sorely missed.
