Dear Alice,
Rachel and I were very saddened to learn of the passing of your dear husband, Prof. Dov Zlotnick. I feel privileged to have known you both since we all moved into Morningside Gardens in 1957, when you were my Imma's best friend. I remember as a child your husband proudly showing me his military uniform.
Your husband had a profound impact on many generations of students at JTS, in Riverdale and in Israel. I enjoyed seeing him when you attended Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck from time to time.

We hope to visit with your children sitting shiva in Teaneck.

We were so sorry to hear of Dov's passing. As long as I can remember you were a part of my life. Peggy joins me in deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family. Love, Mark
