EDWARD EPSTEIN Obituary

EPSTEIN--Edward N., died peacefully at home on April 4, 2025. Born July 3, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY to Clara and Harry Epstein, who instilled a strong moral compass while lovingly supporting the insatiable curiosity and sharp wit that would shape Ed's fearless, joy-filled life. A natural dealmaker and born entrepreneur, Ed's career spanned the importation of European furniture design to the U.S. in the late '70s and '80s to real estate, metal refractory, restaurants, high-tech prosthetics, and most recently, a venture bringing AI to supply chain management. He even launched a luxury cuckoo clock company - an embodiment of his love for unique ideas and finding delight in the unexpected. He cherished fun concepts and relished sharing stories of his adventures. Ed is survived by his wife Jeanne, his children Samantha, Allison, and James, four grandchildren, his brother Len, sister-in-law Karen, and three nieces.

I just recognized this. I knew Ed in the late 1980's when he was involved in buying the printing company I worked for. He unfortunately recognized that it wasn't the best business investment for him. Ed treated me very well and fairly. We shared a love of art, architecture, and furniture. Ed always bounced other business and investment ideas off me and I always respected his interests.
After the second sale of the company we lost touch. RIP.
