A highly intelligent, sensitive and kindly man, Gene possessed a personal feeling for the natural world and an intuitive understanding of the art experience. He lived a long and productive life and I am so glad that I knew him. I will always remember Gene and send my deepest sympathies to Jackie, Cindy and his family which always was at the forefront of his life.
