Flory was a true treasure, as a human, a wisdom-keeper, and a consummate musician. Her visit to our temple a couple of years ago was a tremendous thrill, and I will continue to think of her with great fondness and gratitude every time I sing or teach one of her wonderful songs.

I adored her music and spirit and her lucky survival stories. What a legacy. A life well lived and a blessing to the world. I sing Ocho Kandelikas every Hanukkah and it will always remind me of her. Rest in peace, Flora!

Flory's Flame was featured at the 2016 Carmel Jewish Film Festival in Carmel, CA. Flory performed that evening with Bette, Susan, Howard, and Arielle. It was one of the best evenings ever.

It was an honor to have met her at Silverado almost three years ago and to have learned her story. At that time she still loved to sing and dance and enriched all of the lives of those who met her. May her memory be a blessing.
