My heartfelt condolence to the family of Fulvio Dobrich on the passing of a distinguished City College graduate.
I remember Fulvio as a teenager playing in Astoria, where he lived next to my mother-in-law´s house. He came from Istria, Croatia, same area I came from many years before in 1949. We both attended City College, but many years apart. Our lives went in different directions for many years. But during the last decade we did reconnect when he made a sizable donation to the Istrian American Charity Association founded to help people from the country that we both came from. We met some time ago in a restaurant in Westport, CT, and exchanged our views on how he might provide our Association with further financial assistance. The Association is much aggrieved for the loss of one of its most distinguished and generous members. Requiescat in pace eternam.

My heartiest condolences to Fulvio's family for the very sad passing of Fulvio. Fulvio, apart from his finance career, had time for many charitable causes and for those of us who were fortunate to have worked with him will always remember him for his leadership quality and enterprising spirit. Above all he was a large than life character and we once resembled him to a Zorba character when in Cyprus at a taverna he got up and danced like Zorba. May he rest in peace in the knowledge that he left his footprint on this earth and in the hearts of those who knew him.
