I just learned today of Kasper’s passing away last year. I worked with him when he was at Joan Leslie, my first foray into the world of fashion. Kasper was always a classy and kind man and treated me wonderfully, even long after our days of working together. It was a part of my life about which I will always remember fondly. May he RIP.

Kasper (as I first knew him as a premier designer) was such a wonderful man. I still have clothes with his label including "Kasper with Joan Leslie" from my Mom. I am the one who telephoned The New York Times when the obituary first ran and told them that they MUST do a full article about Kasper. I told them who he was and why they should write about him!!! I wish that if you hold a private memorial that you would communicate with me. [email protected] The world lost a talented and lovely gentleman. He was amongst my first forays into designer clothing.
