We had the great pleasure of meeting Herman when we attended our first Friday night service and dinner lecture about 15 years ago. It was hard to get there since we live in Mount Sinai, Long Island, an easy hour and twenty minute ride with no traffic, but we enjoyed the services and talking with Herman.
He was always accessible and looked forward to our periodic FaceTimes - especially once the pandemic hit and it was impossible to visit.
We will surely miss his warmth, charm, leadership and friendship.
Marisa, our deepest sympathies and thank you for such a beautiful tribute to your dad.
With deepest sympathy,
Joyce & Ken Greenberg
