HUGH HARDY Obituary
The board and staff of The Architectural League mourn the death of our spirited friend and long-time board member Hugh Hardy. Hugh's influence as an architect and advocate were far-reaching and intensely local. His masterful and witty buildings, particularly for the performing arts, enrich cities and towns across the country. His deep devotion to New York - which led to his passionate, vigilant, optimistic work as a generous steward of the past and imaginative champion of the future - has made a better city for all of us. He was urbane and joyous, and we will miss him deeply. We send our love and sympathy to his wife Tiziana, children Sebastian and Penelope and all of the Hardy family.
