Thank you, again Dr. Rothfeld, for all you have done. I think of you whenever we pass the block where your office was. Thank you Legacy, too, for this reminder email. I always want to send a note to Mrs. Rothfeld. I hope she sees this,& knows how appreciated & respected Dr. Rothfeld was & always will be. Miss him!

I, his former patient, was looking up this doctor in order to recommend him to someone and was sad to see he is in heaven now. He was a truly special person. I met him 12 years ago and he solved an issue 3 other doctors couldn“t solve. His office was like a museum and he was so knowledgeable and confident in his craft. I fondly remember his stories of life in Greenland and feeling Instant relief after he performed my surgery. I know he lived a wonderful dignified life and was loved. I hope his legacy continues and that he is happy in heaven.

I just realized that Dr. Ira had passed away about a year ago.
My condolences to his family and professional colleagues.
I fondly remember my visits to his office many years ago.
I found his card and now I will keep it as a reminder of a kind, funny character who always knew what to do.
They should have sent his office to the Smithsonian.
