IVAN KRONENFELD

KRONENFELD--Ivan, of Manhattan by way of Brooklyn, NY, died at age 72 on Thursday from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Ivan is survived by his wife Anne; his daughter and son-in-law Karina and Sudesh Prasad; his brother and sister-in-law Alan and Goldie Kronenfeld; his grandchildren Bryce, Gus, and Daisy; and a great many dear and wonderful friends. He was known for years as an actor and acting teacher but wore many other hats, both before his acting career (longshoreman, community organizer, parapsychologist, radio talk-show host) and after (consultant and wise counsel to a great many luminaries in fields as diverse as medicine, the military, the media, and beyond). All the while he was a boxing enthusiast, dog lover, and an extremely learned and sage man. He was never at a loss for words and did not suffer fools but, rather, helped many fools become less foolish over time. Ivan Kronenfeld influenced the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of people who entered his strong orbit. He will be missed terribly but his spirit, intellect, and deep appreciation for the best of humanity will live on for generations. Donations in Ivan's name can be sent to The Michael J.
