James Oshry Obituary

James Oshry, 61, had a massive heart attack on February 11. He was born in Boston and raised in Newton. His parents, Maxine and Morris Oshry, now deceased, were long time residents of the Waban section of Newton. Jim graduated Newton South High School in 1966, UMass in 1970 with a B.S. in economics and received his MBA at the Darden School of Business at the University of VIrginia in 1972. James had a long and successful career in Sales Management . Retiring to Florida in 2005 he enjoyed a successful 2nd career in Real Estate. Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years Susan, son David, daughter Kate, and two grandaughters Madelyn and Zoe, all living in Lake Worth, Florida, and his sister Dr. Elizabeth O. Dietz of San Jose, California.
