I have a Collector's Edition Collection and just love to watch All in the Family. I keep adding to the collection because I think the old shows
areso much better to watch than all the violence that's on TV today - I tune out of the violent shows, and turn on the oldies - especially All in the Family. It is 2015, and I have them on right now. Rest in Peace, Jean, and just want to let you know that you live on through your shows - and Thnak You for such wonderful entertainment! See you up there!

I'm really sorry to learn about her death. She was a great actress. My husband and I enjoyed her role/character in "All in the Family". Out of all of them, her character was one that gave sparks to the show, and she played it very good. I hope the family is doing fine, because I know what is like to loose a loved one in death. May God grant them the comfort to deal with her loss. (2 Peter 2:9)

Just loved her "Edith" Character. She was the embodiment of fairness and truth and wasn't afraid to mention God in the show among atheistic views. I wish she had been recognized more for her accomplishments. She will be missed. There was only one like Jean Stapleton. Thanks for teaching the world that one can stand true to their morals, honesty and religious beliefs in the midst of an unsettled household. Thanks to the writers for incorporating somewhat tabu religious and moral issues.

I loved Jean Stapleton, and I wached all in the family every night and still do. My dad in real life is Archie, and my mom was very much like Edith and they are in their 80s and still act the parts so its like havine Archie and Edith as my parents.
