John was a great friend, confidante, and champion to my father Joel D. Weiner over the years ever since they worked together in New York starting in the `70s; John remained a good friend to our family through the time of my father´s passing in 2017. Our thoughts are with John´s family.

Harry and I got to know John and Ola in Florida. We shared many happy memories of laughter and good food dining together often. His infectious laugh will not be forgotten nor is always jubilant "Hello" when we called. He was a true innovator and motivator toward life. He was a true gentleman. Nancy Hobson
