Jack Limpert ...good person...I worked with him at The New York Botanical Garden. He hired me. Lovely man. He liked that our daughters were both named Alexandra. He knew how to overcome adversity, treat people well, and enjoy life. We need more people like Jack.

My boss at Lincoln Center. I thought of him today with fond memories. Alexandra is my fav name! My condolences to you and your family. John was an exceptional person and I really enjoyed working for him. Great picture of him. I hope he had a good life. He was funny and hard working. I wish you peace and contentment.

I remember him after we both were drafted in 1956, at Fort Dix. Yale & Harvard made the best of life as recruits.

John (Jack) Limpert, Jr. was born in Brooklyn NY on May 14,1933, son of Sophia and John H Limpert, Founder of Limpert Bros. fruits and flavorings in NJ.
A Harvard graduate and Lampoon president, Jack leaves us laughing with entertaining tales. His flair for fundraising and air of sophistication were admired by all. He energized New York City as Director of Development at The Museum of Modern Art, Lincoln Center and The New York Botanical Garden in the 70´s and 80´s. Jack was an avid reader, an ardent historian and a great story teller.
Jack will be missed by his loved ones, friends, colleagues and especially by his children Alexandra and John, their mother Michelle, and his grandchildren.
