JOHN RICHARDSON

RICHARDSON--John Michael. The family of John Michael Richardson, age 78, who died peacefully on June 1, 2022, mourns his loss. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue, his daughter, Kate, his son, John Martin, and grandchildren; Sydney, Lucas, Lila, and Jack. Born in Wallasey, England, to Jack and Eileen Richardson, John attended Trinity College, Cambridge. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, John obtained his law degree at Fordham University Law School. He practiced law and was a partner at the law firm, Pennie and Edmonds. In his later years, John developed an arbitration practice which he maintained to the end of his life. John will be remembered for his ever-present wit and humor, his love of languages, and his devotion to the restoration of his Victorian home in Southold, New York, and to his family. A Funeral Mass was held on June 13, 2022, at the Oratory Church of St. Boniface in Brooklyn, NY.
