I just attended a retirement party for a close friend of Jon´s at Tuck and it was there I that learned of Jon´s passing. I fully expected Jon to be there and am so sorry to hear this belated news.
I am a Tuck alumna and had a long career there before departing several years ago. I worked closely with Jon on a number of special projects for Tuck, in support of our capital campaigns and the celebrations to honor Dean Danos. Jon checked in with me regularly, whether we were collaborating on something specific or not. He was a mentor, advisor, and true leader. The combination of his sage advice, kindness, and humor were bright spots in my career.
My deepest condolences to Jon´s family and friends. He was one of a kind.

To Allison and all the Cohen family.
My deepest condolences. I was a first-year student at Tuck when I interviewed with Jon in 1982. Somehow, I made it through the Goldman Sachs interview process and joined the firm as a Summer Associate that year and full-time beginning in 1983.
Jon was foundational for my successes in life, both professionally and personally. I am forever grateful for his support, guidance and friendship.

A good man and a better friend. Jon was a faithful mentor in the best sense - modest, scrupulously honest and wise. He was also great fun to be around, knowledgable and interesting and quick. He played a singular role as trustee of the Wildlife Conservation Society. I always learned something valuable from spending time with Jon and will miss him.
