We will always have fond memories of Joe Kaufman on the Amex trading floor. We also shared many a friday night or early saturday morning at Zabar's on the West side of Manhattan. Our families liked the same noshing - Nova, White fish, Sturgeon, and their famous pickled herring. The world was a better place because of Joe. He loved his family, God, and country. May God be with you and bless your loved one's.
You will be missed.

We will always have fond memories of Joe on the Amex trading floor. We also shared many a friday night and early saturday morning at the famous Zabars on the west side of Manhattan. Our families liked the same noshing, nova, whitefish, sturgeon and the famous pickled herring. The world was a better place because of Joe Kaufman.
He loved his family, God, and country. May God be with you and bless your love ones. We will miss you.

To the Kaufman family,
Joe was a real gentleman and a friend, upon his retirement he decided to learn to use a personal computer to keep active. I worked with him for three years but his impact as a friend will last forever. We are all the better for having known "Broadway Joe".

Our friend and partner whose memory and contribution to our firm,The American Stock Exchange, and the securities industry will live on. All of us were proud to have worked with a special human being who lived by the motto of "your word is your bond." He represented the purest form of integrity and honesty. The customer was always treated fairly and with respect. He will be missed.

Dear Kaufman Family,
"Gentleman Joe" will be sorely missed by his Amex family almost as much as yours. Always a professional, a teacher, a leader, a listener but most of all a true friend. Always dressed to "the Nines" he will be remembered as the Class Act of The American Stock Exchange. Rest in Peace, Sir.

I can summarize Joe in two words "Class Act" in my 40 years at the AMEX that's what he was, a friend, a mentor, the ultimate professional, and a classy guy who never had a harsh word for anyone. I admired him and will miss him dearly.
