To Gary, Ruth, and all of the Benanav family.
Our heart-felt condolences on the death of your father. I just today learned of his passing from Nancy LeMay, sister of our dear friend Donna. Donna always spoke very lovlingly and respectfully of the Benavav family, whom she considered her family as well.

Dearest Benanav Family,
I am hopeful that you will remember me. My name is Charlotte and I was your son, Jonathan's, secretary for several years. I was deeply saddened to read of Joshua's passing. Please know that I have thought of your family often over the years. My favorite memory is when Joshua and Aviva would come to visit Jonathan in Atlantic City from time to time and the graciousness and kindness that was bestowed upon me by Joshua and Aviva will never be forgotten. Again, my sincerest condolences.
Fondly,
Charlotte Roselle Miller

Dear Aviva and the Benanav family,
We mourn with you the passing of our dear friend Josh. We will remember him as a proud Jew and Zionist, his love for Israel, the breadth and depth of his general knowledge, and especially of the holocaust and Jewish history. Please accept our condolences.

Josh,
You were a great inspiration to us all. I remember fondly celebrating Passover at your Westchester home some time ago and the attention to detail to the Haggadah and your addition of a personalized historical sermon to the service. You will be sorely missed by all of those that touched you and were touched in turn...
Our thoughts are with Aviva and the entire Benanav family. We send our love,
Jane & Lewis Tannenbaum
