Julius Grossfeld Obituary
Julius "Jerry" Grossfeld, of Kings Point, NY, passed away Monday January 9, 2017, following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Licy; his sons, Norman, Daniel and Paul; his daughters, Anita and Cheryl; and grandchildren Steven, Justin, Eric, Gabrielle and Carly.
Founder and President of Commodities Assistance Corporation, one of the oldest and largest merchandise recovery companies in the United States. Jerry was known internationally as a savvy businessman and sharp salesman with an unparalleled intellect. His humor and mentorship will be greatly missed.

I am truly sorry to hear the news of Jerry's passing. As he would say he knew me since I was a baby, grew up in the auctions with him and my dad bidding! I had the honor of knowing him and grateful for his friendship. Even gave him a ride to NY from Virginia when the airport got snowed in where he gave me a scare or two lol didn't know he drove so fast. He gifted my baby girl a crib last year on one of my last visits to his place. He was a great man and will be missed at the auctions! Deep condolences to his wife and children from the Baux family.

To the Grossfeld Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
