WINDSOR--Laurence Charles, Jr., died at the age of 86 on December 26, 2021, at home in Guanajuato, Mexico. Beloved husband of Ruth Lindstrom Windsor, father by previous marriage of son Laurence Edward of San Francisco and daughter Patience Jackson of Severna Park, MD, "Chuck" is mourned also by his sister, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins of Windsor, Lindstrom, and Hobler families. He entered his career as a communications executive at Time Inc. and Young & Rubicam with experience as a Marine Corps recruit and West Point Cadet, pursued a lifelong commitment to bridging the gap between military and civilian cultures, and served as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army. As public health conditions allow, a Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Bedford, NY, on May 21, at noon.
