LEE WALDMAN Obituary

WALDMAN--Lee M. Lee M. Waldman died peacefully in her sleep on September 26, 2025. Born July 14, 1932 in Norfolk, Virgina, to parents Elsie and Leroy Margolius. Being of French heritage she was pleased about her connection with Bastille day. Lee grew up in Norfolk and moved to New York City after graduating from Wells College. She met her devoted husband Ronald Waldman at a wedding and agreed to marry him on their third date. They were married for 67 years. Lee had a long career as a real estate broker and took great pleasure helping people find or sell their homes. If you mentioned an address, she could describe the floor plan from memory. Lee was known for her wit, her kindness, her loyal friendships, and her candidness. She had an enduring love of art, classical music, opera and the humanities. Lee is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Haspiel (Joseph) and Margot (Tim Lemmon), five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her brother Colonel Benjamin Margolius (Susan). In lieu of flowers, please consider making a gift to Young Concert Artists at YCA.org or a charity of your choice. A memorial reception will be planned at a later date.

I am saddened to learn of Lee's death. Lee was one of the nicest as well as loveliest of human beings. A positive person with a good sense of humor and thoughtful and kind to others. She was so much a part of the Stribling & Associates family and I missed her after she retired. I continued to call her every so often to pick her real estate brain and to chat. I send sympathy to your entire family and share in your mourning. When you have a date for the memorial reception, please let me know as I would like to be there.
