Leonard Paczosa Obituary

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Leonard Paczosa, 90, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at St. Gabriel The Archangel Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Interment in Fort Logan National Cemetery, with military honors, in Denver.

Leonard Paczosa was born Oct. 7, 1927, in Duncan to Stanley and Mary Markiewiecz Paczosa. Leonard married Barbara Minikus in 1958 and then moved to Omaha where he worked for Paxton Steel Co. Leonard later moved his family to Minnesota where they owned and operated a Mini-Pac convenience store in St. Paul, Minnesota. After retirement they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Leonard is survived by wife Barbara Paczosa of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son Mark (Colleen) Paczosa of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandchildren Michael and Matthew Paczosa; daughter Deb Paczosa of St. Paul, Minnesota; Grandchild Brandon Vanderbush; son Brian (Kimberly) Paczosa of Faribault, Minnesota; grandchildren Sean and Katy; son Eric Paczosa of Yuma, Arizona; sister Rose (Bud) Kuta of Columbus; sister-in-law Elaine Paczosa; sister-in-law Mary Ann Paczosa; brother-in-law Neil (Glenda) Minikus of Princeton, Minnesota, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Stanley and Mary Markiewiecz Paczosa; brothers Valerian, Ted, Albin, Stanley Jr II, Tony, Ben, Dennis and Stanley Jr Paczosa; sister Lillian Dush; brother-in-law Ben Dush; sisters-in-law Katie Paczosa, Shirley Paczosa and Lorena Paczosa.
