Lester Ray Talton Obituary

Lester Ray Talton, 81, passed away May 18, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega. Craig Little will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home. Mr. Talton was born in Lincoln and was a perfectionist within his trade of masonry and brick laying. He loved Alabama football, hunting, fishing, horseshoes and dancing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Talton, Gladys Brim Smith, and sister, Ruby Allen. Lester is survived by his wife, Hilda Talton; daughters, Tammy Talton, Anna (John Murphy) Akins; granddaughter, Lorelei M. Trammell; grandsons, Jerry W. Trammell, Yannik Koepenick; great-granddaughters, Emma Kate, Anna Claire and Lydia Rose. Pallbearers will be John Murphy Akins, Ronnie Ellis, Jason Hollingsworth, Jonathan Tyler, Guy Sergi and Ricky Price. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Parton and John Curry. On line condolences may be offered at usreyfuneralhome.com Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will be directing services.

Granddaddy I love you so much and will miss you evn more then you could ever know thank you for all that you taught me and for loving my family with all your heart your great granddaughters will deeply miss you and will always hold you in their heats and thoughts they always cherished your loving ways and the funny things you did to make them laugh we love you and miss you.
