LUCY PEARCE Obituary

PEARCE--Lucy Kapilow, died September 17, 2011 at age 90 in Boulder, Colorado. Born in NYC, Lucy received her B.A from Hunter College, M.S. from C.W. Post University, and was librarian at Baldwin Junior High School. In 1977 Lucy and husband Charles Albert Pearce retired to Colorado. Treasured by family and friends, Lucy is survived by daughters Peggy Frank, Pat Jones, and Nina Davis and their husbands, granddaughter Rebecca McKinney, and two great-grandchildren.

I love Lucy! She has been such a lovely inspiration. Though on and off in my life, when there, she really mattered. I shall never forget her running to my first wife's side (Katharine) when she was succumbing to lung cancer in the early 1980's.And from Katharine's side of the family, it was Lucy and Al who were always there. Thanks Lucy for being in my life!
