I hadn´t seen Dr Sherman for quite awhile and was behind in checkups. Today as I was going to make an appointment I learned of his passing. He was my dentist since his early days in Irvington, over 40 years. We grew close and enjoyed and suffered with our NY Giants. He was more than my dentist, a true friend. My condolences to his family and I will truly miss my friend of over 40 years.

Dear Renee -
Our holiday card was returned and when we discovered why, it broke our hearts. Always thought well of you and Marshall and can still remember the laughs we shared. It's apparent from the postings about Marshall that everyone thought so very highly of him.
Very sincerely,
Anne and Marshall Mahl

My best friend. Worked across from him at the office 8 hours a day 5 days a week for 4 years until he got sick. Cannot put into words how much I miss this guy.

I knew Marshall from Torah class on Saturday mornings. He was like the father figure of the class, always ready to take care of anything that anyone needed. He always sat in the same spot at the end of one of the tables and it was like he presided over this class that he truly loved. When he was in the hospital he set up his phone connection so he could still share in the discussion. He will be missed and never forgotten.

I knew a Marshall Sherman many years ago. At the time, he worked as a vendor at Yankee Stadium. Based on the fact that your loved one was born in the Bronx in 1942, it's quite possible he's the same Marshall. If so, I would share that, as a young man, he was a person of few words, but with a humorous outlook and a friendly disposition.
