MARVIN WASSERMAN Obituary

WASSERMAN--Marvin, died in New York City on March 19, 2024, at the age of 82. The first in his family to attend college, he practiced as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He served as a training analyst and an associate clinical professor at Columbia. He was devoted to his colleagues, his students, and most of all his patients. He enjoyed good food and wine, and was an ardent supporter of the arts. He is survived by his children, Matthew and Janet; his brother, Gil; and his grandchildren, Brady, Sam, and Benjamin.

Very sad to hear about Marvin's passing. He was a dependable, kind member of the faculty. I have only fond memories. My condolences to his family and friends.
