WEINTRAUB--Melvyn Douglas, passed peacefully surrounded by his dear family on May 9, 2025. Beloved husband of Linda, proud father of Abby (Matt) and Richard (Meredith), loving grandpa to Sofia, Jack, Molly and Max. Son of Rose and Sam. Brother of Jerry. Dear Weintraub family, my sincere condolences for your loss. Doug was a larger than life man from a larger than life family. I will always hold both Sam and Doug in dear regard. They gave me wonderful and encouraging business opportunities that were so appreciated.
Linda, I´ll never forget your thanking me for giving Doug the Ferragamo ties to end his reliance on solid color ties:-)

Warmest thoughts to you all-Billy Ford

Doug as we knew him was a happy fun guy. He´d regale us with interesting stories over many dinners in NYC that we shared. He and Linda were a great couple. May he rest in peace.
Deep condolences to Linda and the family.

The Weintraub´s were friends in NYC and shared many a dinner with them. They made a great couple. Doug as we knew him was fun and smiley and had great stories to regale us. He was a lovely man.
Deep condolences to Linda and the entire Weintraub family.
