MITCHELL ALEXANDER Obituary

ALEXANDER--Mitchell S. Mitchell S. Alexander, 61, of Dix Hills, New York, passed away on October 29, 2024. He was husband to Marie, father to Elizabeth, Katherine, and Victoria. He graduated summa cum laude from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Technology in electrical computer engineering, as class valedictorian. He achieved a Master of Science in software engineering from National Technology University with high distinction. He designed one of the first Manufacturing Execution Systems. From 1998 to 2000, he was the owner of Next Generation Systems, serving small and medium-sized businesses. During 24 years at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp., and in his most recent role as Chief Information Officer and Information Security Officer, he transformed the company's information technology. He always made time for his family and community, as softball manager, coach, and published author. He loved restoring his 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. We will long remember the treasured memories.
