PAMELA LIVINGSTON Obituary

LIVINGSTON--Pamela Sullivan, 65, of Nantucket and New York City, died March 28, 2010, of complications from ovarian cancer. She leaves her husband of 40 years, Curtis, her children, Molly and William and her grandchildren, Liam, Morgan and Lizzie. Her sister, Priscilla Swift and brother, Robert Sullivan, Jr. also survive. She was educated at Sweetbriar College and Columbia University and had resided with her family in Chappaqua, NY and Arcadia and Pasadena, CA. Pam enlivened us all as the champion and center of her family, a gifted hostess, a dedicated librarian, an ever-curious researcher, a tireless volunteer, a good friend and true lover of life. We will all miss the spirit, joy and love she brought to everything and everyone she touched. Services will be private. Contributions may be sent to the Pamela Livingston Memorial Fund at the Nantucket Atheneum, One India Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. A commemoration is planned for this Summer on Nantucket.
