Paul was a wonderful person and a great tenant. I am so sorry he is not with us any longer. He had such a gentle personality and I will miss him. I just discovered his passing today when I tried to reach out to him about something he once told me. I guess I will never learn what he would have told me.

Paul, it is with great sadness that I find this record of your passing. It has been some time since those easy, fun days of University and fishing in upstate New York - still I miss those times together, and remember them as if if was just yesterday. You were a bright star among your peers - and have left us too soon.

My sincerest condolences to your family.

Take care my friend.

Paul, I am so sad to find out you have passed away. I have been meaning to get back in touch with you for many years. I was thinking about you tonight and decided to look for you online and found this site. I am so shocked and sad to find out this news. I remember fondly our friendship in high school at Earl of March. We studied a lot together especially in grad 13 and pushed each other to achieve our dreams. We also shared our love for tennis as well. Most of all I will cherish our philosophical discussions about life. How important it was for me to have a friend to talk about these things with at the time. There were not many who understood. Paul, I am so sorry that we lost touch, but please know that I think of you often. My deepest regards to your family.

"in the end, nothing we do or say in this lifetime will matter as much as the way we have treated one another"....
Paul was one of my favorite patients...polite, very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed talking about his trips all over the world. He will certainly be missed...and to his parents and family, our condolences.

In Memory of My Brother Paul
July 17, 2008

Dear Paul, thank you for being my brother. I will miss you in a way that only brothers can understand. I will always cherish our childhood memories growing up in Richmond and Kanata. I remember your first Boston Bruin hockey sweater with red hockey pants. I remember walking to Joe Dallaire's barber shop with crisp one-dollar bills in our hands when everyone else went to Casey's. I remember you jumping up and down and screaming "that's my cake" when Dad inadvertently put "Happy Birthday Paul" on my Birthday cake when you were six. I remember bicycling through the streets of Richmond and playing road hockey with Kelly and Robbie Thicke...our best friends growing up. I remember hearing mom scream "Pauly...Lunch" during our summer holidays. I remember the bush, the creek, rafting on the Jock River and crab apple fights in the summer. I remember losing to you in ping pong over and over and over again. What a magical time we had, even if we did not know it then.

I was very proud of your accomplishments Paul - athletic, academic, professional. You single-handedly positioned your grade 8 volley ball team to win the School Board Championship. You excelled in Tae Kwon Do. You loved golf and tennis. You graduated near the top of your class in High School. You studied at Trinity College at the University of Toronto graduating with distinction. You were the first in the family to get an Ivy League education from Columbia University. You realized your dream of moving to New York and working in business. You helped found your own company. And most importantly, you made a lot of very close life-long friends many who are here today. Paul - I do not know why you got so sick at such a young age. But I do know that your accomplishments are enviable ad your courage inspirational. Please rest in peace - I will miss you more than words can describe. With lots of love from your brother Mike.

I am deeply saddened as I write these words...Paul will forever be in my heart as he was a wonderful and real person.

I was Paul’s administrative assistant when he worked at Miller Anderson & Sherrerd. I considered Paul not only to be my boss, but a friend as well. I will always remember our conversations, particularly about his grandmother. He was very fond of her. It was not uncommon for Paul to be at my cube; we often conversed about family, music and life! I have so many fond memories of him; Paul will be missed. To the family you have my deepest sympathy.
