PAUL ZUCKERMAN Obituary

ZUCKERMAN--Paul Herbert passed away on May 18, at age 77. He was the son of Max and Minnie Zuckerman, brother of Lawrence (Adele), loving husband of Sara, father of David (Gigi) and Daniel (Yael), and grandfather of Gabriel, Odelia, and Emma. He was born in Brooklyn and graduated from Brooklyn Tech and the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton). He later obtained JD and MBA degrees from Brooklyn Law and NYU. After working for several years in the securities industry, he entered into solo legal practice which he pursued until his recent illness. He was ardently involved in Torah study and the Yorkville Synagogue in Manhattan, to which contributions may be sent. He touched the lives of so many people with his constant consideration for others, his good cheer, and his ability to listen. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 9:30am at the Plaza Community Jewish Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Ave.

David, I am glad I got to meet your dad. In the very short time we spent together it was clear that he had an exceptionally kind heart, a gentle spirit and was a smart guy. I am sure several of these gifts have been passed on to and through you as you too will pass them on to Emma. Our heart felt condolences to you and all your family.
