I was saddened at the passing of Peter. I had known him for over 30 years and worked with him when he was starting out in College House and I was starting my working career. I have many fond memories of him and his family. Even though we hadn't spoken on a regular basis, I thought of him often. May he now find the peace he deserves.

Pete was a wonderful person, a truly kind soul. He was the kind of person who would have been the same guy if he had nothing at all, and his family was the joy in his life. He lit up like the Fourth of July when he talked about his kids, and he had the kind of relationship with Judy that everyone should strive for; I've never known a more perfect couple. Peter and Judy have always been so very kind to me, and my parents as well. My thoughts and best wishes go out to Peter's family, and I think we're all a little better for having known him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Judy and family. I'm sad for all of you. I know Peter is okay now, although family and friends are not. I only have good things to say about my former boss. The one thing that sticks out, is when Lillian left the company and I had to work a lot of overtime. Peter and I would sit in the conference room and go over the payroll and he had to sign the checks. he never failed to say every time he'd get to my check and looked at the amount , he'd make a face and say "you're killing me ". Peter always treated me good. When the company was moving to VA I was scared to be without a job, so I found one and worked one week and didn't like it. I called Peter on Sunday (Father's Day) and told him I didn't like the job and he said he'd see me tomorrow and took me back to work at College House. I only have fond memories of Peter and I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch with him and his family. May you find the peace Peter would want for all of you.

In life we only have 1 chance at true happiness and contentment and I feel that you Judy found that in Peter. He has however left you with four wonderful children and a host of other people to care for you. God gives us the ability to savor life for as long as we have breath in our bodies and it is up to us to abide by his will. Peter's passing was God's will because he could not stand by and let a good man that meant so much to so many people suffer. Peter is only gone from your sight but forever alive in his families hearts.

Dear Judy and all family members, It was 1983 that I joined College House as a sales rep. Over the past 26 years I had the opportunity to grow as a person and a sales rep for CH. I will always recall Peter calling me at the Jewish holidys to wish the best to me and my family...I loved that personal touch...i will remember Peter for his class...knowlege and business acumen...I loved working for Peter and will miss him very much

Dear Family of Pete Blumberg,
I only met Pete one time (at the 60th WUVA reunion), but found him to be a very congenial person. I have since learned of all his good work on behalf of UVA and WUVA so I now know that he was also a good and giving man.
I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief. I lost my mother in November, so I understand what you are going through. May God bless you all.

I met Mr. Blumberg several times over the years because my good friend Valerie had been a long-time employee, both in Long Island and here in Richmond. He was always kind and welcoming, and I know he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the College House family too. Peace be with you all.

To Judy & Family,
It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles and the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. I will always remember the memories that we had at The College House.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Thelma Brown & Family

Dear Judy and Family,
We are very saddened by the passing of Peter. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father as well as a mentor to so many. I was proud and honored to be associated with him through our mutual love of radio station WUVA at the University of Virginia. Peter's voice will forever continue to echo through the station's studios
