Just making an appointment with new doctor today and my thoughts turn to Dr. Kim. From the very first time I met him he made me laugh-something huge for a neurology patient. He somehow managed to infuse super smart, kind, caring, and a great sense of humor in to every appointment. I was lucky to have been his patient. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

DOCTOR KIM was my doctor for over 10 years. He was a super doctor that I will miss. I saw him on the day of his death. I don't know what his illness was, but I remember him that day, as I talked to him, sitting serene, but with his head held up by his hand, staring down at his desk. He seemed not to be his happy self. Was he feeling badly then? I'll never know. Now, I have learned, that evening, on the way home, something happened. I wish he were still here for all of us!

Dr. Kim was an extraordinarily nice person who I was very fortunate to have as my neurologist, for about 7 years. During each appointment with him, it was always so clear that I was in good hands ... starting from his warm greeting in the waiting room to his methodical, informative and caring approach to my situation. Consequently, my wife and I grew to be very fond of him and will greatly miss him.

I learned today January 10, 2018 that Dr. Kim died in December and as his neurology patient for many years I am devastated. I counted on Dr. Kim's knowledge, skills and willingness to 'hear me out...'. I welcomed his enthusiasm as a clinician, and wanted the young ones to see him at work with me, because they learned so much. Words fail me to express condolences and sympathy to Dr. Kim's family and also how much I will miss him guiding me, how ever long God grants me. Will Sparks

January 9, 2018

I am another patient of Dr. Kim's, shocked by the tremendous loss of an exceptionally kind and talented doctor.

Dr. Kim saved my life, identifying a dangerous condition easily missed, and he guided me through years of recovery with wry humor, vigor, dedication, intelligence, and true concern. He always found time to speak and had creative solutions to tough problems. I feel very lucky to have known him, and I wish for comfort and peace for his family and his other grieving patients.

Before receiving the news today he came to mind. I always got angry when I couldn't remember the 3 things he told me at the beginning of each appointment. My heart goes out to his family and all the other patients that will miss him dearly.
