His most recent work was narrating the King Tut Exhibit:Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh. Born on Staten Island, N.Y.,he grew up in Venezuela, Belgium, NJ and Martha's Vineyard, and was a graduate of Boston College. He had a profound love of the water and was an avid swimmer. PJ is survived by his mother, Eileen, his brother, Barry and sisters, Suzanne, Lisa, and Victoria, their spouses and their children. He is predeceased by his father, Philip Brown Jr and sister, Kathleen. The family requests that donations be made in PJ's name to the Actors Fund: actorsfund.org Celebrations of PJ's life are being planned in Morristown, NJ in July and in Santa Monica, CA, at a future date.

Dear Brown family. it has taken a few years to discover the loss (of PJ) that I am sure you are all still enduring. My heart goes out to you all. To Michaela who lost a great father I am sure, and to Beck who lost a wonderful husband and companion, I am very saddened to hear this news.

PJ was sui generis, one of a kind. A towering sequoia of a soul, his transition will be marked by the void that all of us who knew him, who loved and were loved by him, will feel.

It is an emptiness that will only be filled by only on thing: love. In other words, by PJ...

Perhaps PJ's grandchildren will read this one day. What I want you to know about PJ is that he cared. He cared deeply. For all of us. He helped us when we needed help. He comforted us when we were down. He was a guide in recovery from all things. A true healer. He was so kind to my children and taught them to meditate. He engaged and supported them as though he was their Uncle. His vibrance and brilliance was his gift to us. He will be waiting for all of us with open arms in heaven!! Cheers!!

PJ was so positive, so filled with light and so generous with that light. I was always glad to know he was on the earth, doing his thing, no matter how much time had passed without speaking to him.
Peace and comfort to his wife and daughter. Blessings.

PJ was a great father to his daughter, Michaela, and a wonderful human being. Every encounter was always joyful and full of light. His was a presence that could lighten the darkest night. The world has lost another beautiful person.

I will remember Pj from our high school days together at Delbarton and later at our reunions. He was a great, high energy guy who will always be fondly remembered.

PJ was a beautiful human. Every time I saw him he welcomed me with a smile and made the space he was in better place with his energy and presence. He went out of his way to help others and did do for me in several occasions. My thoughts are with his family.

What a gentle sweet man. The world is a darker place without his light. I will miss not ever seeing my friend PJ again.
My love to Beck and Michaela.
