RICHARD MOSS Obituary

MOSS--Richard, M.D. It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we mourn the passing of our esteemed colleague Richard Moss, MD. Dr. Moss, a past president of The Mount Sinai Alumni Association, was a great and renowned physician, as well as a mentor and role model to generations of residents and young physicians. He was also, above all else, an exemplary human being. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife, Barbara, and sons Douglas and Steven, as well as the rest of his family. Dr Moss was my Dr for 40 years. 25-65. he operated on me twice. His wisdom and kindness meant more than I can ever say. When my father died he wrote me a hand written note. Which I still have today. Dr Moss was a wonderful Dr and a very compassionate person. He loved his family very much. My deepest condolences to his family. P

Dr.Moss was one of the kindest, most respectful, & decent people I've ever worked with. A really good human being. I know he will be sorely missed. My condolences to Doug & his entire family.

Dr. Moss was my doctor for decades ...He was wonderful & I adored him. Funny story, my Mom´s sister dated his Dad, obviously many decades ago in Buffalo.
Prayers he is resting in eternal peace
