RICHARD SCHWARZ Obituary

SCHWARZ--Richard, passed away at home very peacefully on October 11, 2010, sixteen days short of his 85th birthday. Beloved husband of Ronnie, unbelievably wonderful stepfather to Cory and Scott, father-in-law to Leslie and Debbie, dearest GaGa to Bailey and wonderful grandfather to Samantha, Kiley and Dayne, father of Debbie, Pam and Jeff, grandfather to their eight children and brother to Earl (Marilyn). Graduate of Stuyvesant High School and CCNY, ran his engineering company (Steinharter -Schwarz) for many years and had a wonderful reputation throughout the industry; and worked with the Corp of Engineers, MTA and VA Hospital. Always ready for a martini! Pass the cashews and pretzels! Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel, Amsterdam Avenue and 76th Street, Thursday, October 14th at 11:15am. Please make donations to Visiting Nurse Hospice, New York Hospital and Sloan Kettering.

My father, Richard Schwarz, also has 3 other children, Deborah (myself), Pamela and Jeffrey. He also has 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. We love him and miss him and only wish we had more time with him.
