Bob Silman was one of my favorite patients.he was always pleasant and congenial despite the severity of his medical problems. He was a humble man who never bragged about his incredible engineering feats. He was also a Renaissance man who was conversant about many subjects. The world is a lesser place without Bob but he has given us a legacy of buildings and ideas which last forever.
