RODMAN DAVIS Obituary

DAVIS--Rodman Townsend. Died on August 15, 2016 at the age of 82. The sixth child of William Shippen Davis and Frances Riker Davis, he was born in New York City and attended Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Master in City Planning and was a Fulbright Scholar. He worked for the City Planning Commission in New York, the Hudson River Valley Commission and the Metropolitan Regional Council. He is survived by his sisters, Frances Davis Fisher and Nina Davis Jackson, his children R. Townsend Davis, Jr. and Bridget Elias, Henry P. Davis and Belle Davis, Ruth Davis Konigsberg, and seven beloved grandchildren.

I loved my father ... and I am blessed that I could share my life journey with him and my family. I am grateful and I wish Norma and everyone in our family and friends, who knew my dad, peace and dear memories to cherish.
