My condolences to the Florman family. I corresponded with Sam many times over the years I kept some of his emails printed out on my office wall. Enjoyed interacting with him and reading his books. The last time I spoke with him he was talking about attending his granddaughters wedding. Nice man will think about him often.

I just became aware of Mr Florman's passing. He visited my college when I was a freshman in 1979-80 and I attended a talk he gave there. I have recently "rediscovered" Mr Forman's books and am enjoying his writings. I hope his family and friends can take solace in good memories and all that he left behind.
