HEYMAN--Samuel. Harvard Law School mourns the passing of Samuel J. Heyman, outstanding corporate leader, and invaluable advisor and great friend of the Harvard Law School. His visionary belief in the need to inspire the nation's best and the brightest to pursue careers in the federal government led to his creation of the Law School's Heyman Fellowship Program on Government Service. We are honored that Sam's legacy will live on through the extraordinary work of the Harvard Law School Heyman Fellows and all others inspired by his call to service. We at the Harvard Law School will never forget his stellar role on the Dean's Advisory Board, the Executive Committee of our recent fund-raising campaign, and in the rejuvenation of our public service community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Ronnie, his mother, Annette, his children, Lazarus Heyman, Eleanor Propp, Jennifer Millstone HLS '05, Elizabeth Winter, son-in-law David Millstone HLS '05, his grandchildren, and the entire Heyman family.
